The World’s Top Professional Golfers Compete at Albany
The Hero World Challenge is a PGA TOUR event held in December at Albany in The Bahamas. The tournament features an elite field of 20 of the world’s top-ranked professional golfers and is hosted by golfing great Tiger Woods. The Hero World Challenge attracts the best in golf and drives strong philanthropic support for Tiger Woods Foundation, Tavistock Foundation and the Bahamas Youth Foundation. Every year, the tournament showcases unforgettable patron, player and sponsor experiences.

Albany’s Championship Golf Course
Since 2015, Albany’s championship golf course has hosted the Hero World Challenge. Designed by Earnie Els, the 18-hole links-style course features windswept dunes and unique water features that present challenges for professional golfers and amateurs alike.

Every year 20 of the world’s top-ranked golfers are invited to compete at the Hero World Challenge. From hole-in-ones to birdie barrages and comeback wins, the spectacular field always puts on a show for those at Albany or watching at home.
